Softball wrapped up the regular season tonight with a non-conference doubleheader at Marshall: GAME 1: Three Rivers 6, Marshall 5 The Cats led 4-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth before Marshall scored four times to take a 5-4 lead. In the top of the seventh, Dani Glass walked with two outs and scored on a London Hoffmaster single to tie it. Ashlynn Barnes followed with the game winning hit scoring Hoffmaster. Offensively, Elizabeth Oestrike had two hits, Autumn Schroeder, Glass (2B), Hoffmaster, Barnes, Mia Thomas, and Emmy Quake had hits. Gia Newburry pitched a complete game for the win, allowing eight hits and striking out three. GAME 2: Marshall 12, Three Rivers 2 (F/5) Marshall scored nine times in the third inning to split the doubleheader. Autumn Schroeder (HR), London Hoffmaster (3B), Ashlynn Barnes, and Mia Thomas each had hits. Three Rivers ends the regular season at 25-10 overall.
